"There is a certain vulnerability in opening your heart and letting your connection with someone blossom. I am fascinated by the way Lovebirds take care of each other in nature, courting each other, feeding each other, and creating lifelong connections in a way so parallel to human experience. In this new interpretation, the interplay of gold and silver suggests that, when they are united, they each yield alloys which are stronger, and more flexible than either metal on their own. Mixing the metals reflects how love itself is multifaceted-at once warm and luminous, tender and enduring.
