These lamps are sturdy, attractive and reasonably priced. We have not yet been able to use the dimmers, but I believe we may have to change the type of bulb used. The shades allow plenty of light without being a bright white. They are also a unique and attractive shape. We are very happy with the bronze relief that matches well with other items in the room. The material is actually polyresin - not wood - but the lamps are a reasonable weight and not flimsy. Finally - kudos to the company. The lamps were very well packed, but one had a scratch in the finish. As soon as I notified Macy's the company got on it and replaced. I am so VERY impressed with this customer service! I shop at Macy's for this exact reason. This experience tells me that it is also important to Macy's to deal with great suppliers. Thank you!!!
