I love the fitted neck part of the jacket as I am constantly getting wind down my back and the chills in my other coats. This is cozy and warm and perfect for the winter weather. The top is not a hood that you can put over your head, but it would keep the cold winter wind off of your neck. I would say this jacket is true to size and I cannot wait to wear it in the winter. You could use this for early morning school drop off or a date night jacket.
