Beyerdynamic MMX 230 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Gaming Headset

I’ve been using them for about a month as I wanted to produce an authentic review and these are fantastic headphones. I’m an avid gamer and twitch streamer so headphones are literally apart of my day to day life and these are so incredibly comfy. As you can see from the pictures they have cushions so they’re very comfortable in long uses. The microphone is fully customisable in the sense of noise reduction etc via the app. The app is required for these headphones so bare that in mind before ordering that you will need an app to customise. The sound is absolutely great there’s no complaints from me, not fully soundproof but pretty much everything you need with a pair of headphones Super simple instructions, lovely storage bag to keep them in and just overall good quality headphones!

I was super excited when it arrived and started using it immediately. It feels nice when you first put it on. The fit is secure and tight, the noise cancelling is good, and the sound is sharp and super clear which makes gaming and listening to music enjoyable. However, the tight fit becomes a downside during longer gaming sessions. After wearing it for a while, I start to feel fatigue around my ears and need to take it off for a break. Overall, I really like the sound quality and initial support. Battery lasted a whole week too. It’s great for shorter gaming sessions but not the most comfortable option for long hours of continuous use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the beyerdynamic MMX 230 wireless headset across both PC and PlayStation 5 and it’s performed brilliantly on both. The sound quality is super crisp and crystal clear when gaming. On top of that the inside of the ear cups is extremely soft, making them really comfortable to wear even during long gaming sessions. Another major plus is the active noise cancellation which does a great job at blocking out background distractions around the house which helps stay focused on the game. One feature I absolutely love is how the microphone works. Flipping the mic down turns it on and pushing it up automatically mutes. If playing with friend and need to step away quick then I can just flip the mic up to pause my audio so no one hears a thing. Also it tell you when you turn it on if the battery is high, medium or low. Overall I highly recommend it for anyone who loves gaming or live streaming!!

I’m currently using a high end headset myself and this has actually surpassed them. The aesthetic is great the build quality amazing and the overall specifications and sound quality is epic! It would be a 5 if they had replacement cups as I prefer a leather feel on my ear but that’s genuinely the only downside. For gaming this is a 10! Special sound is great mic quality if decent and feedback is perfect

The carry bag is simple and easy to fold the headset down and put in. I struggle with comfort on a lot of my headsets this is super slick and comfortable the ears are extremely soft and the band doesnt hurt your head after lengthy gaming. This is now my number 1 headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn this headset for a few hours at a time whilst gaming and they are so comfy, no headache or ear ache its amazing! The sound quality is brilliant, especially with base and natural sounds, I listen to music on the computer too and it also sounded brilliant. You can hear so much more sound that you don't notice usually. I found there was no lag with sound when gaming and talking to my friends on discord. I loved that there was buttons to quickly adjust volume and turn on/off ANC. it was very easy to connect up to the computer and the app is very easy to use too. Overall these are a fantastic headset and I would reccomend to anyone in the market for a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I’m really impressed with the MMX 230 so far. For a gaming headset, the audio is just perfect. Everything sounds really clean. The sound feels powerful without being too much, and it makes games, movies and music more enjoyable. I’ve played a lot of games with it and it really delivers the atmosphere the way you’d want. You can really feel the impact of explosions, music and other sounds in the game, which makes a big difference when playing. The battery life has been amazing so far. I use the headset for several hours every day and still haven’t needed to charge it. The Bluetooth range is also good. The velour pads are comfortable and feel really nice during longer gaming sessions. The ANC works well, and overall it’s a really comfortable headset. I can wear it for hours without it becoming uncomfortable. Overall, I’m very happy with the MMX 230. The sound quality, comfort, and battery life have all impressed me so far. So far, I honestly don’t have much to complain about.

The soft velvet ear surround is stylish and comfortable. The sound quality is superior to other brands we have already at home. They definitely justify their price tag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My partner absolutely loves these headphones, they’re so lightweight and easy to use, the satin ear muff pads are his favourite and he really likes the noise cancellation feature too, only downside is can’t connect it to our Xbox without a audio jack go usbc cable but cheap enough to order, can’t fault the headphones at all
