Nine West Abstract 8-Piece Comforter Set, King

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice run of the mill bedding set. Very average quality. The sheets are polyester or microfiber which seems to be the norm now instead of cotton. I prefer more of a quilt/bedspread over a comforter because they are more sleek looking but this is for our guest room that hardly gets used. The color is pretty accurate to the picture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter is decent and kept warm enough (air conditioned summertime). The set was a bit rough to the touch out of the bag, but was much better after a wash. Unfortunately, even after following the wash directions on the tag, I noticed there was something stiff near the foot end of the comforter, like melted plastic inside. This could possibly be the stuffing fiber partially melting from the dryer, it could also be a manufacturing mistake. Regardless, it makes that part of the comforter uncomfortable or scratchy. I am also not the biggest fan of design of the sheets/comforter combo, I feel the colors/print do not mesh well. I do appreciate the 2 pillow cases and 2 shams along with the decorative pillow. Overall, the print design is okay but be careful when laundering in case there is a chance the polyfill melts and becomes stiff.

Regarding appearance, the dark forest green reversible comforter lets you change up the decor easily and has a subtle pattern that pairs nicely with my gray bedroom decor. The throw pillow that comes with it is a nice bonus. As for material and craftsmanship, the pieces are nicely sewn with no stray threads. The sheets are thinner than I expected, but for me that's a plus because the entire sheet set easily fits into one washing machine load without the comforter bogging it down. Also, for me, if sheets are too heavy I end up getting too hot and kicking them off again landing on the floor Everything held up well when washed, with no shrinking. In terms of breathability, the material is lightweight and great for the summer, while the comforter is cozy and will definitely keep me warm in the winter. It also fits the bed securely without dragging on the floor!

The material did not feel very high end but wasn’t terrible. The sheets were not wrinkled and sizing was true to size. Overall it’s a nice, inexpensive option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most comfortable bed set I’ve ever had. It’s very soft, fresh and cozy all at once. It’s an 8 piece set and every piece is just perfect. The design, color more specifically is not my favorite (dark green)
