Taylor Women's Shirred V-Neck Dress

I have been eyeing this dress for a while and reading the reviews to decide which size to get. Based on the size chart, I was between a size 8 and 10. I happen to find a size 8 in my local Macy’s and, as mentioned in some of the other reviews, the top was too big. I was able to try on both a size 4 and size 6. Although the size 4 fit OK, I felt it was more of an empire waist, so I decided on the size 6. The dress is very comfortable and the material is beautiful. For reference, I am 5’7”, 143 pounds and typically wear a size 8 in dresses.

This dress is extremely comfortable and easy to wear - all while looking very high end. Only issue is the top is rather large, getting it altered, skirt/bottom true to size

I usually wear size 16, so ordered size 16. It is true to size. It may be slightly long for shorter people. I am 5’8 and it is perfect for me.

I usually wear a 16 in almost every dress. It was huge, so I returned and bought the 14. Well the bodice was huge in the 14 too. Feels like it would be perfect if I could get it altered in time. Maybe I will try a size 12. Maybe it’s my body type, but based on all the reviews, I’m not that far off from them. However, the material is very pretty.

Beautiful dress, but you need seamstresses who know what they’re doing. It was like a sack. Big everywhere. If this dress was made correctly it would be beautiful. AND liner is inside out. WHY Taylor dresses liners inside out?? All of them!

I sized down from my usual size and the dress was still too big across the bodice. I was really hoping to love it. The print is pretty and the style has the potential to be flattering, but the bodice being so large makes it look awkward. I will be returning it.

This dress was comfortable, but too big. I went off of the size guide and ordered a Lg., size 12 due to the fact that I have a larger bust (40DD), and a little tummy. I'm 5'4" and 160 and am usually a med., regular size, or LG petite, but no petite sizes available. I looked like I had a long green sack on. The breast area was even too big. I easily could have worn a Medium. I'm returning it. Doesn't feel like it's worth 130.00, and I would have to find a belt to cinch the waste. Not flattering on me.

Large as compared to usual sizing so size down. Beautiful dress and color.
