Elegant and playful
Elegant enough to wear to musical performances, the opera house, and formal occasions though comfortable enough for a kid to romp around due to the skorts design. Hard to tell from the photos (and I did not realize this or would not have purchased it) but this is a skort - the bottom tuille does not wrap all the way around to cover the shorts in front so there's about a 1 inch vertical gap from waist to floor. Having said that, once she saw it was a skort, my daughter Insisted on keeping the dress and the loves wearing it all the time.
