ROCKY Men's Lightweight Commercial Military Boot

I bought these with the BOA system and composite toe after a recent purchase of a composite toe, BOA lace Ram's Horn Rocky boot purchase. I do like the BOA system and wanted a second style to rotate every other day to make them last twice as long. I haven't owned them long enough to offer any information on durability/longevity. Like the Ram's Horn style, these Mono Crepes are an attractive boot in my opinion. They also fit me true to size. These boots had a bit of a break-in compared to the Ram's Horn, which fit right out of the box. I think it has to do with the material the tongue is made from. On these Mono Crepes, the foot would be tight and at the top of the boot it would be loose. After wearing them quite a few times they must have loosened up in the foot a bit to where I could tighten the entire boot to where everything is now comfortable instead of having a half tight/half loose boot. Overall, I am satisfied with this boot. I think they will fit better each time I wea them. All my boots from this point forward will likely have this BOA fastener system. I like it that much.

it needs a retainer in the middle so the wire laces don't run from the side.. so they can stay tighten

Shoes are great for work. Wish the laces tied them up a little tighter but overall really great shoe!

These Rocky boots have excellent build quality, premium leather, a comfortable insole, and the BOA lacing system is a game changer. They're also surprisingly lightweight for how sturdy they feel. My only complaint is the fit around the top of the foot. There's too much open space on the metatarsal area, so even cranking the BOA all the way down doesn't get them snug enough. I ended up having to buy thicker, more expensive socks just to fill the gap, which causes my feet to run a little hotter than I'd like. Another option I may try is putting in a tongue pad to fill that empty space on top of the foot. Otherwise, they're really solid boots.

The leather, stitching, and sole all seem well made, but the fit is disappointing. I ordered my normal size 10 in a standard D width, yet the boot feels excessively roomy and my heel constantly slips when walking. The BOA system is also underwhelming. The dial feels cheap and plasticky, and even fully tightened it doesn't secure my foot as well as traditional laces. Overall, the boot appears to be built well, but the poor fit and lackluster BOA system keep it from being a great work boot.

I am very happy with the boots. It was very difficult to get the correct size. I typically wear a size ten and ended up having to size down to a size eight wide to get it close to the right size. The boots still fit a little narrow for my wide feet but are still comfortable.

Baught these in March about 1 month ago . I love the no lace style that one of the main reasons I decided to give this brand a try . But I notice these are not really durable the insole started pealing already been using less than 1 month and for the price point not worth it .

I love Rocky Boots. Been wearing them for the last 10ish years. THESE BOOTS ARE TERRIBLE. Uncomfortable, your feet DO NOT breathe at all in them, and the "grip" on the bottom is a liability honestly. Slide all over the place in these Alyssa Lui could use them as ice skates I will continue wearing the S2V's that I've always worn because I love those boots, but these monocraps are going into the trash. I gave them two months wear time, but I shouldn't even given them two days.

These boots are awesome. I bought size 11 D and they fit as expected. They have been holding up well and I would buy them again. They are very squishy under my feet which is nice when walking on gravel. Pros: looks great, BOA system is awesome, leather is good quality for the price, thick insole Cons: a little bit snug on my toes (maybe I should have ordered Wide?). Also they get warm due to waterproofing which you should expect on all waterproof boots
