Works amazingly out on the hunt while being supper light and easy to transport, quick to set up and take down, and cleans easy. Very impressed with this product.

I have a few of these cause they’re cheap and the size I like, as I never have anyone with me. They get the job done. I like the fact that you can open the windows but it’s obvious that deer see a difference in windows open vs windows closed. They are waterproof enough, especially if you spray them with waterproofing. You have to be careful with the stake loops as the break easily. Worst part is the door zipper. I’ve had some that made it more than one season but they jam up and separate eventually. If not for that, I’d give another star.

Love the Ameristep doghouse blinds. I have like eight of them so family members have multiple options of stand locations. Easy to pack in, easy to set up, easy to take down. IfI could offer any suggestions for improvement, two things would be a zipper cover flap to keep rain and snow off of zippers. The second would be the carrying bag, make it blaze orange. We hunt Northern Wisconsin it gets very cold and zippers tend to freeze because of rain and snow. A simple flap above zippers would help. Also in low light conditions during rifle season, I’m always a bit hesitant to strap a black bag on my back in order to pack out. Blaze Orange bag would make a guy feel a whole lot safer..

Absolutely love these blinds . I've used these for years now . Wouldn't use anything else.

Basically i like this blind, fast and easy set up and just enough room for one man and equipment. I have at least five of them. Could use a little stronger hold downs and straps but if you are careful it works. Throw the cheap wire stakes and get some tent stakes so they hold. The tripod stool might work for a kid but not me, pretty cheap and flimsy. Stake it down good and use guy wires (paracord) will take a ton of breeze. Once you learn how to fold them its easy. I use them many times a month during hunting seasons.

Really looking forward to getting into the woods and using this blind.

This is the second caretaker I’ve owned and they are an excellent blind.
