The bedspread had some texture added to make it feel more quilt like, but it's the same water resistant feel of a cheaper bedspread. Overall, it's pretty for company. The pillow covers were very thin and the zipper on one stuck and seems very cheap quality, so I suggest caution. Overall, a nice set.

I will say the fabric feels a little scratchy compared to what I usually go for since I tend to avoid polyester and microfiber bedding. It’s not exactly the softest option, but the look makes up for it. I can’t comment on the durability as it has only been tossed in the dryer once to air fluff after taken out of the packaging. Funny enough, my parents ended up taking it to their beach condo (after I received it and tested it for a few nights) because they had to toss all their old comforters due to a mold issue, and it actually looks great set up in their guest room. The colors really fit the calming coastal vibe. Overall, stylish and functional, just not my personal favorite fabric texture.
