I waited a year plus to write this review. They have been my daily footwear. The composite toe saved me from injury once that I know of. The Boa parts have held up. I frequently wear them without the Boa tightened to run out to the truck or mailbox. It’s convenient as we take our shoes off at the door. They are comfortable. My feet don’t get sweaty. I would buy them again. It may be several more years before I need to.

Just recieved the boots and I wore them all weekend Ice fishing. These boots were very comfortable. The rachet system for making them tigh was great
After wearing the Grindstone BOA boots for a few months and after reading the other reviews, I wanted to throw my honest review into the mix. I would classify these boots into the light-weight work boot category and that is mainly due to the softer/spongy sole material. While I don't believe they would hold up well in hostile work environments, they are very comfortable for walking on pavement or gravel. I absolutely love the BOA closures. I haven't experience loosening but find myself cinching them tighter within the first 30 minutes of wearing them. I was wearing Rocky Rams Horn boots before these and developed some foot pain, possibly stress fracture from all the miles I was walking. Since I've been recovering from that issue, the Grindstone boots have really helped me not re-injure but still provide the extra ankle support.
Boa system has worked great no issues. The outer sole is terrible, they actually soak up and hold water, dew on the grass is enough to load the sole up. If I kneel down it will basically wring out the toe and there will water puddled where the toe was. It's also not very tough as I've noticed when using a shovel it basically just rips and tears the what I'm assuming is just a very dense foam.
Bought these about 3 weeks ago I’m not liking the cable shoelace it works it way loose which I don’t care for other then that boot is fine bad design
