Glad to buy made in USA! Very useful slip on boots. I use them for yard work and to go to the barn to feed horses and chickens. I do wish the had size 13EE. But I am making the 13D work.
I bought these boots about a month ago. I'm a charter Captain down in Stuart, Fl and am out on the water all week long. These Pro Ankle Boots are great. Tad bit wider than previous pairs and great traction. Good enough traction to walk around the boat gunnels without falling in. The Gray color are much cooler than the Brown ones I've previously owned. I got 4 to 3 years out of the non pro ankle boots. I've heard these boots should last most ppl a at least 10 yrs plus.
I’ve had several pairs of this boot in a recreational model and they just don’t last more than a season or two and they are coming apart. So, this is the commercial boot and I can already tell the difference. Heavier material with the same level of comfort. I’ll try not to wear them out too quickly. Ask me again in the fall and I’ll have a better feel for how they are doing.
I now understand the hype. These are extremely comfortable with more ankle support than expected and are just an all around good choring boot.
I was soooo excited that Xtratuf went back to making something in the USA. Sadly, these boots are quite narrow, and even though they are flexible rubber, they don’t comfortably accommodate an E-3E width men’s foot.
