Perfect comfort walking shoe, built to last.
These shoes are absolutely perfect! They have a perfect heel pocket for people like me who use orthotics, and enough give in the toe box to accommodate my odd fourth toe. The midsole cushions just right; soft enough to be easy on the joints but firm enough to provide great support and long life. This is my fourth pair of Mephisto Matches. My first pair, in black, after eight years, three continents and one resole, are still my Go To shoes for travel.

Persistent quality
Repeat Mephisto customer over 20+ years and these classic Match tennis shoes are another winner ... high quality, comfortable build that are true to size. In my experience you pay a bit more, certainly not as stylish or trendy as some, but if you want to be on your feet for hours (at a trade show for instance or wandering a new city) without pain they're certainly worth the investment.

Great shoe
The Mephisto Match is the one of the only shoes I’ve worn that doesn’t hurt the bottom of my heel after being on my feet for 8 hours.
Despite the website, the white leather pair did definitely needed to be broken in. I have an E width foot and out of the box it was pretty narrow in the forefoot, causing some aching. After about 6 full days of wear, this went away.
I liked the shoe so much I bought a NUBUK pair, which fits roomier and is much softer. Overall, this is a go-to shoe for being on your feet all day.
