The Pikachu design is adorable, and my child loves putting the Pikachu Tonie on top and starting the adventure.It’s extremely easy for children to use independently. There are no complicated menus or screens—just place the Tonie on top and play.The battery is convenient for everyday use, and I love that the app lets parents check the battery level. It charges through USB-C, which is very convenientOverall, the Toniebox 2 Pokémon Pikachu is a great screen-free entertainment option. It’s fun, durable, easy to use, and the Pikachu theme makes it especially exciting for Pokémon fans!

This is a starter box, so it does come with a Tonie. It's simple to use and very interactive it keeps her entertained. It's such a cute starter kit for any little pokemon fan.

The sound range is so good. It goes high to low. The product feels so nice. The materials are top tier. The Tonie Box is consistent as well no issues what so ever. We are already on the hunt for more characters. As a mom I approve this one million percent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was just as thrilled about the Toniebox 2 Pokémon Pikachu Starter Set as my kids were! I really like that they can use their imagination and enjoy stories and music without needing any screen time. They love being able to control it themselves by tapping and tipping the box. It adds a fun, physical element to the player. They are already excited about collecting more characters, which I can see becoming part of the fun and more present ideas. I like the updated design of the Toniebox 2 too. The box feels more plush and soft than I expected, which makes it feel kid-friendly and comfortable for little hands to carry. I also like that there is not a charger sticking out of the bottom of the box like on the previous design. It makes the overall design feel cleaner and more practical. The Pikachu character is awesome. You cannot go wrong with some Pokemon. I was impressed with how clear the narration is. The sound quality is good, and my kids have no trouble hearing the stories. I also like that it is something they can listen to while playing, relaxing, or using their imagination rather than being glued to a screen. There are a couple of things I would change from an adult parent perspective. The charging cable is extremely short. I had to charge the box while it was sitting on its side. It also does not come with a charging block, which would have been nice. I also wish there were instructions printed somewhere on the box itself, maybe on the bottom, showing the basic controls like how to turn it off, fast forward, skip, etc. I found myself having to remember which taps and touches do what. The kids do not seem to have a problem remembering, but I do. I still need to explore the app more to see all of the features and everything you can do, so I may not have discovered everything yet. Overall, my kids absolutely love it, as do I. It encourages imagination and independent play without screen time. I can already tell we will be adding more Tonies to their collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with a Toniebox and I had no idea what to expect! The box is soft and squishy - perfect for kids! Set up was very easy and I like that I can control the volume from my phone. I did find the concept of adding free content confusing at first and does require additional purchases of tonies but that was probably in the directions! My kids are loving listening to the pikachu stories at bedtime tonight!

It may take them a little bit to remember the separate gesture functions, learning what’s the front, to know which way is left or right to get the correct forward and rewind functions. They love Pokémon, so they are enjoying listening to Pikachu’s stories. It connected right away when they placed their Pikachu figure on top.
