Fisher Price Ultimate Mountain Playset, Ages 1+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you hear “mountain playset” kids toy you think you’re getting a hill. Let me tell you, this thing is a bit bigger than expected. My boy loves how steep the ramp is down the big mountain because it sends the car flying across the living room. The circle ramp is always fun to because it’s just fun watching something spin in circles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our new favorite Little People set. It is a good size, tall enough that she can stand up or sit down to play with it. She loves the little vehicle that comes with it, and driving that down all the slides. Assembly was a bit intimidating upon first opening the box, but it goes together quickly and easily with simple to fillow instructuons. The whole set is so cute and fun, and good quality that we've come to expect from Little People toys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those toys where I really wish I can give 4.5 stars. First of all, I tested this primarily with my three year old son. He loves car play and was very highly engaged with this. It's a large-size toy, the kind that you'll likely have out all the time. It incorporates pretend play and vehicle play, with three different slides, one human figure and one pup, a vehicle with two accessories, and even a little bonfire. The value is definitely there! It's a sturdy, high quality toy. What we love: For kids who can't yet assemble things like tracks, you get loads of play value from this and the details are just so cute. The Kayak can swim down that waterfall, and the snowboard down the snowy mountain. It absolutely engaged my son for many hours - in fact, he refused to share it with siblings. What we didn't love: For us, such a large toy in this category doesn't make sense. We have small play spaces so having an always-out toy in this category doesn't make senses. I'd love to see Fisher Price include some more storage-friendly features in a toy this size (just a couple of elements folding up/in would help.) There was some frustration with attaching the Kayak and snowboard to the vehicle. A younger kid might not mind but my son wanted to do it but couldn't. There weren't many moving parts in the toy itself - for example, the bridge looked like it swayed but didn't really. In a nutshell, for those building up a capsule toy collection or with plenty of space, this is a highly engaging, high quality toy for toddler-preschool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toy itself has lots of parts and requires putting it together when you first get it. That’s no problem, but mine did not come with the screws to tighten it down. I think it may be a fluke, but a disappointment nonetheless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has had so much fun playing with the Little People Let’s Go Mountain Playset! Assembly took me about 30 minutes but was simple, and the bright colors and mountain theme immediately caught his attention. The different interactive features, including the winding track, moving vehicles, and multiple play areas, kept him engaged for a long time and encouraged imaginative storytelling. The pieces are the perfect size for his little hands, and everything feels sturdy and made really good, even after repeated play. We have used it both during independent play and together as a family, and it has quickly become one of his favorite toys. I would definitely recommend this playset to families with young children who enjoy pretend play and adventure.

She has played with it every day since she got it, and it keeps her entertained for long periods of time, which is impressive for a 20-month-old. There are so many fun ways to play with it. Her favorite is sending the snowboarder down the track, but she also loves racing the car down the spiral road and pretending the kayak is going through the water. She even has fun switching everything around to see what happens on each ramp. The little details really make this set special. Between the bear, campfire, Little People character, car, snowboard, and kayak, there are so many opportunities for imaginative play. It also works really well with our other Little People sets, which makes it even more fun. If you're looking for a toy that will actually keep your child engaged and encourage creative play, I definitely recommend this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We LOVE playing with the Little People Mountain play set! It is a toy that gets played with daily in our house, both independently and with siblings/Mom & Dad. My baby finds the slides especially entertaining, we love playing with the kayak slide and “car” is one of our only words right now so that road is a huge hit for us! It was simple for me to put together and not overstimulating for my little one.

I was very disappointed with how low quality this product is. The whole thing is pretty flimsy to the point that I am pretty sure my 3 year old could destroy it. I've bought quite a few little people play sets and products and this is by far the worst. The additional items are also clearly reused from other Little People sets with just less paint on them as you can see in the picture where I have them compared to the original. You can see these are lower quality knockoffs. This play set also required more assembly than any others I have bought including putting on stickers which I found very annoying. It is also extremely frustrating that the size of this doesn't accommodate any of the old Little People cars. You can only use the new car it came with that is much smaller. This led to an angry toddler. Little People has always been my favorite toys to buy my son so it is sad to see them going in the wrong direction with this product.
