way too heavy
older models were one layer. These have multiple layers adding unnecessary weight making them less practical for backpacking

Easily Rips
i've ordered two pairs of these one size up and also my regular size. Over the course of two years both have ripped and the north face logo on the right knee have peeled off.

North Face products are always well made & I would definite.
Great pants. Haven't worn them in the rain yet, but at least now I'm ready! They are being kept in the truck for when I get caught in one of those sideways rain falls & have to fill up with gas.

I would buy this product again.
I use these pants for when it rains. I put them over my pants and off I go I don't worry about getting pants wet.
