In spite of being very careful, the protector was loaded with air bubbles which I was unable to remove. When the temperatures became cold it made the problem worse. I replaced it with a Vello Glass screen protector that went on very easily and did not have the issue with air bubbles. The Sony screen protector came off very easily and left no residue on the LCD.
