Garmin Venu X1 GPS Smartwatch 51mm

So far i love it. but ill say i have not had it very long and definitely have not used it to its full potential. i do question some of the sleep metrices we tend to disagree a lot there. i also have a VERY physical job therefore my watch is always telling me i need a rest day and that i am not ready for a workout. i hopefully this is something that'll change as it learns me.

My wife bought the Garmin Venu X1 for my birthday to replace a worn out Garmin Venu Sq 2 smart watch I've had for years. I'm a cyclist/hiker and the Venu X1 monitors and captures all my bio metrics, GPS tracking adventures. and more. A lot of "bells and whistles" on this one, including a larger, sharp AMOLED screen. The watch is easy to navigate once you're past the initial learning curve. The watch is a bit on the pricey side, but so far I'm liking it!

I absolutely love this Garmin. The large screen, thin profile, and flat design are exactly what I’ve been wanting in a fitness watch. It feels light and comfortable instead of bulky, and I really hope Garmin continues this line rather than moving everything toward heavier, rugged watches designed to survive a war. And the battery life? It puts Apple Watch and Samsung Galaxy Watch to shame. Being able to actually use a smartwatch without constantly thinking about charging it is a huge part of why I’ve stayed with Garmin for so many years. There are plenty of us who love Garmin but don’t need an ultra-rugged adventure watch. We train differently. I do Hyrox-style workouts, CrossFit, strength training, functional fitness, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I may run as part of a workout, but I’m not a distance runner. I don’t swim and I don’t bike, either. I’ve been a loyal Garmin user for many years, but I’ve often felt like the watches are designed primarily around runners, cyclists, swimmers, and endurance athletes, while people who train like I do are almost an afterthought. I would love to see Garmin continue developing this lighter, thinner style of watch while also expanding the workout and tracking features for functional fitness, Hyrox, CrossFit-style training, strength training, martial arts, and similar sports. We’re out here too, Garmin. We train hard, we love the data, we love the battery life, and we support the brand. Please keep making watches for us too.

i "LOVE" my new GVX1. Especially the battery life. But honestly, the watch faces are very limited and wish there were more options. When will Garmin and developers come out with new 'watch faces'? Other than that I would have rated this review 5 stars!

Garmin did well. This is a beautiful and functional watch. The battery life is very good.

So I use a forerunner 570 for daily workouts but wanted something different for daily wear. I was unsure about the X1 until is arrived. Super slim and comfortable. Barely notice it’s on even for sleep tracking. Battery life is good, 7-8 days with pulse ox, notifications, voice assistant etc. nice big bright screen. Overall a great purchase for daily wear and sleep tracking. It’s also nice that it has maps and a torch. Great features in a slim design. I got it on sale and I’d say it’s a steal at the sale prices.

I love the upgrade over forerunner(replaced 3 times by Garmin due to case breaking where band attaches). The fact that the band attaches to the titanium caseback was the big plus and should be noted somewhere. I was reluctantly going to move away from Garmin until I saw it in person even though I had to drive out of my way. Only issue I had was on one golf course in GA where it had me stuck on the first hole the entire round.

I've had it about a week and love it. It was an upgrade to my old Garmin S20. My golf rounds didn't sync to the phone Garmin App. I tried all suggestions without success. I finally uninstalled Garmin connect, restarted the phone and reinstalled Garmin Connect. Now everything works perfect! The functions on this Venu X1 mind blowing!

Great health watch! I am still learning how to use it. I have had a Approach S70 golf watch for years and purchased the Venu X1 for health monitoring Walking and routine living. At 81 years of age I face some health problems that this watch will help me monitor my heart, pulse oximeter, steps, body battery, and MOVE IQ.

Too much of what you don't need on a smart watch, especially a Garmin product. What I do like is the Garmin interface with my iPhone such as time, notifications, focus, and battery life. All of the sports junk is just that, junk. Maybe someone who has little or no understanding of their physical fitness profile would need all of the irrelevant trinkets just as a participation trophy. Cubicle monkeys are ruining the electronics world because they LACK experience at ground zero. I would NOT recommend this product to those who make the world safe. I have owned Garmin products for decades and I am disappointed with the Venu X1. The name should have been a red flag for me.
