This bag is perfect to dress up an outfit - not sure I would wear it to an after 5 event BUT it would be perfect to dress up something you'd wear out with your girlfriends. It would also be a cool upgrade for jeans, boots and a fun top. While its not traditional - it's not trendy. You can keep this forever and pull out to use for years. Great purchase!
