I ordered the XL at first and it fit but just barely. I would have no room to grow in it. I got the next size up and it worked so much better. Much more comfy and I have some room. I plan on wearing the other one when I'm not pregnant!
"Runs small" doesn't begin to describe what's going on with the sizing of this swimsuit. Imagine you're a size 16/18/XL in maternity clothes and swimwear on this very site. In fact you just bought a size XL black swimsuit from the "regular/standard size" selection and it fit beautifully. But this swimsuit in size 3X can barely get over your legs and is still tight around your hips and belly! Just horribly sized and not as flattering as pictured. Sizing up is a joke - this swimsuit will be returned.
This is hands down the BEST swimsuit I have ever ordered! I honestly hope I can find a way to wear it even when I'm not pregnant. I'm currently 34+4 weeks, am about 260lbs, full busted, and this suit fit me perfectly. I did have tighten the straps but that's normal and no big deal. It is comfortable and really fits close to the body. I was worried about the collar being annoying but it really wasn't at all. I might even buy the non-maternity version just because I love it so much! Definitely get a size bigger than you normally would because it does fit so close, I was worried a little when putting it on but once it was on it was perfect.
I really wanted to love this product unfortunately though the fit was not as described. I even ordered a size up according to my measurements and it still was to small. I would not recommend this product.
I love this bathing suit! It was comfortable and very flattering, I got tons of compliments on our "baby-moon" at 33 weeks pregnant. The only suggestion I would make is to size up. I'm normally an XL (14-16) and I went with a 2XL, and I'm very glad I did because the XL would not have fit.
Very cute, but had to return. Normally Im a size 18/20. I got this in a 3X so I could grow into it this summer as the pregnancy progresses, but I couldnt even get this swimsuit above my knees. Very small & im so disappointed.
I usually wear 3X no problem, but this was way too small.
Huge disappointment. I wear size 2X and creeping up to 3X now that Im almost 8 months. Bought this from suit for Memorial Day and when it arrived I couldnt get it any higher than my thighs! There is no way it was going to fit over my butt.
This swimsuit is adorable. I am definitely plus size, but I carry most of my weight in my legs/arms (for reference, I normally wear a size 18 top, and size 20/22 pants). I ordered a 2X, and and it was a little bit of a struggle to get it over my legs. Once it was on, it fit great. I also have a long torso, so one-pieces are always a gamble. But this suit completely covers my bum and front area. I am currently 19 weeks pregnant, due at the end of July, so I bought this suit for summertime. I'm a little worried about growing into (or should I say out of) this suit. There seems to be plenty of stretch in the tummy area; I'm just worried if I put on more inches in my legs/hips area, this suit may not fit. I'm going to risk it and keep it, just because it is such a cute swimsuit.
Was nervous ordering a cozzie overseas without trying on but fits really well. Lots of coverage over bottom low cut legs are flattering. Rouching should see this fit for a while as my bump gets bigger. Cups are sponge and on the smaller side which would be my only complaint, but the frill on the top hides a multitude of sins. I'm just hoping my daughter won't pull on the frill in her swim classes. Probably not a cozzie for swimming laps, it's a bit fuzssy and frilly for that! But good for swim lessons for kids, or going to the beach or bopping around the pool to cool down. I wear size 20 - 22 Australian normally and 3X fit me.
