[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this game! They are 8 and 5 and have a blast playing it because it’s so simple for each of them to play. Quality of the cards is really great and it’s a fun gun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is super cute and easy to play. It can be used in other ways, just as a matching game so it can be used by the younger little ones too. Cards are durable and good quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great toy for my 7 year old daughter. I appreciate that there is some learning value and it’s fun too. She enjoys the fun characters and colorful pieces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All these games and now my kids only want to play Mixalotl!!! They love it! Great for young kids and price is perfect for how much fun all four of my kids are having
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really enjoyed the HABA Mixalotl Matching Game! The pieces are bright, colorful, and perfectly sized for little hands, which immediately caught her attention. She had a lot of fun mixing and matching the axolotlsl. I love that it’s not only entertaining but also helps with memory, focus, and problem-solving skills in a playful way. The rules are simple enough for young kids to understand, but still engaging so they don’t lose interest. Overall, it’s a well-made, high-quality game that combines fun with learning. Definitely a great choice for family playtime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product, Mixalotl, is a fun and creative family game centered on “animated transformation.” The goal is to collect animal transformation cards to create the funniest and most unexpected combinations. It comes with a Mixalotl figurine, 20 transformation cards (10 top halves and 10 bottom halves), and 24 tokens (12 sheep, 12 frog). Again, it’s fun - my kids love it and it’s entertain to watch them try to sound the animals out . I would purchase again for smaller children . My son is 7 and still enjoyed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is good and the pieces feel nice in hand The graphics are fun and colorful It’s a great game for kids four and up The gameplay is simple enough for younger ones to understand but still fun for the whole family Kids around four to six years old seem to enjoy it the most We had a lot of laughs and fun playing together
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children and I are so mesmerized with the Mixalotl Matching Game from HABA. Not only are the illustrations so sweet and gentle, but the whole game is simple to setup and still challenging for me as the parent. I like that Mixalotl challenges the traditional matching games and also gets kids excited with the Axolotl main character. I have a 4 and 7-year-old and I’d say this is certainly more challenging for my 4-year-old, but my 7-year-old still had a lot of fun playing it. My recommendation would be to play with close age groups to make sure no one gets frustrated. I also like that you could turn this into a traditional matching game if you wanted. The quality of the game pieces, the gentle art and colors, and the minimal plastic packaging make Mixalotl by HABA a great addition for the modern family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Played with my 3 years old boy and he loved it. The packaging is cute and simple. The game comes with easy instructions and example to follow. This game doesn’t like the traditional matching game, instead you have to be fast to shout out the animal’s sound right after the card is being picked up in order to win. A bit confused at first but it becomes easy and fun when you get the hang of it. It’s definitely a fun game for the whole family to play together. Highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute and great for kids! The Mix-a-Lotl creatures are colorful and silly, which makes matching really fun. It’s easy to learn, keeps little ones engaged, and helps with memory skills. Perfect for family game night or playdates.
