Grown Alchemist Skin Renewal Serum 25 mL

I was using an Aesop facial oil after I shaved (53 years Male - thought I'd clarify), but I'd started using GA's facial cleansers, so thought I'd give this a try, I love it, I shave, then shower (GA Body Cleanse), cleanse face GA, then I apply about 5 drops and cover face and neck with this serem - wow my skin feels and looks fantastic - If your a slightly older guy, looking to freshen up your skin - give this a go

Scent is mild and serum is gentle. I've noticed a big improvement in my skin health.

Didn’t like the smell. Felt like putting on alcohol as it dries and feels clammy almost immediately. Took at least 6 drops per use for it to cover my face/neck as it just evaporates as you put it on. I didn’t find it hydrating at all. Always followed it with a moisturiser but still didn’t keep skin hydrated all night. Wouldn’t recommend.

I am a loyal Grown Alchemist customer for 2 years and am not excited about their product revamp. The old version of this Serum was ultra hydrating and a little went a long way. With this version, I could smell the difference immediately as it smells of straight alcohol. This prompted me to do a quick comparison between the versions and the new has increased the alcohol content considerably just based on the ingredient list. It also takes twice as much of this version to cover my face. I'll use what I've purchased since it isn't cheap, but will be seeking out a new skincare line it looks like, which is a shame.
