Eileen Fisher Women's Wool-Cotton Check Long-Sleeve Button-Down Shirt

In love love this shirt and it wool so cozy I want more wool

I bought this top thinking it was a bit heavier (cotton/wool blend). It's a tad bit heavier than a gauze or linen top. It was pricey but can be worn with slim slacks, over a short sleeve, A line dress or with a short ( but not mini) skirt. A hunter green or burnt orange for Fall would look nice. I slways wear a size Medium in all EF tops and this fit well. I did not find it scratchy.

Runs quite big! Had to reorder in smaller size. Perfect for fall weather

I am 5'6", 143 lbs. I bought this in medium, my usual size, and I love the fit. The fabric is not too scratchy despite being mostly wool. Just the right layer for early fall in Vermont. It has a lovely drape and flow. The sides are cut up a bit higher than my last shirt in this style (linen stripe), and that really enhances the look. I bought Plaster color and am very happy with all the things I can wear it with. I'm thinking now of the black and white one.

I washed this top by hand in cold water with forever new soap. I could feel the fabric contracting as soon as it hit the water. After line drying the top it had shrunk to a Child's size. Extremely disappointing. I shop at Eileen Fisher because I don't want to have my clothes dry cleaned. I purchased this top in two colours and will be returning both of them.

Ran very large, shape didn’t work for me. Returned.

So perfect for easing into fall in this classic comfortable shirt.

I am 5'10" and found the sleeves to be almost 2" too short; had to return. Also, the fabric was not what I had expected--very light and gauzy. I had thought it would be a little heavier for Fall.
