If you want to modernize your kitchen while removing what is more the likely the number one eye sore object in the kitchen Rev-A-Shelf Pullout Waste container is the answer. Overall, I’d say installation was 8/10 with. Instructions could have been a little more direct with more diagrams but but overall after reading everything over a couple of times I was able to understand everything thoroughly. The issue is that you have 3 different instructions sheets to different components that make it difficult to know exactly where to begin. The precut installation sheet makes it easy to guide your drill holes and know where to place your tracks. It’s extremely convenient and takes the guessing work out of the equation. I really liked the pre locking mechanism on the bottom drawer that just screwed in and I was just able to install it quickly. The fit was perfect though I definitely could’ve gotten the bigger size but my needs I specifically got it for recycling so I didn’t want something excessive. So for the sake of my needs the fit was perfect. The quality is superb, with the tracks feeling of very high quality metal and the pull out cabinet of high quality durable wood. I’m appreciative that it includes a waste bin already and I didn’t have to struggle to find one that fits. That one thing I really did struggle with and I feel could have some improvement was placing the door on. There must be a way to be an able to have a guide of some sort to pre mark where it should line up before having to drill in the door. I found it very difficult to know where to drill in order for the door to align straight and flush against the others doors to not look crooked. Eventually after about 20-30 minutes I succeeded but I would have liked an easier alternative. The overall installation took me about an hour to complete, I’m an experienced DIY installer and I found the project semi complex just cause of the instructions. It requires a couple of reads before diving in just make sure you have every step noted before continuing to the next. I’d definitely install another one or do it again. The ease of having a pull out waste container is extremely nice. No more having to walk into awkward areas of the house to throw things away or having an eye sore of a can blocking the hall. A great addition to any home that wants a more modern and clean look.
