Just installed under our deck roof. Extremely disappointed. On highest speed it's just a whisper of air. Wasn't on sale spent a fortune on it. Don't know what to do at this point.
I purchased this same exact fan from another co and have tried for f months to get it to function correctly. I spoke to Kichler’s technician (Dan) and reset and synced the remote on numerous occasions. They sent me a new fan. Electrician couldn’t figure out why it goes so slow on speed 6. It won’t reverse and go any faster the slow. Kichler finally said “sounds like you shouldn’t buy a DC motor fan”? It’s a beautiful fan. So excited to put up outdoors on new covered deck. No one can figure why it won’t work. Technician said that DC motors can pick up interference from lights. Well there are no other lights other than string lights which are controlled on a separate wall switch. No wall switch- just remote use only. Returning and looking for yet another wet rated, large 70-80 inch outdoor, no light, remote only AC fan. So disappointed as I did all research.
It looks great, but after install and pairing with remote, it only operates at a single very slow speed. This review is pending a solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is Massive! When I first received it I was shocked at how big it was. I mean this is definitely the biggest fan I have ever owned. It was really heavy so my husband grabbed a dolly to bring it into the house. When we first opened the package we were shocked at how big the panels were. They are long, sleek and definitely modern. The design of the panels and the base make it look very high end. There isn’t a light but this is meant for outdoors anyways so you really wouldn’t need it outdoors. We actually are using it in our house because we love the design so much. The black color suits very well and gives off much airflow. I live in an area where the temps reach up to 117 degrees in Fahrenheit. I have extremely high AC bills and this fan is going to help me tremendously by giving off enough air in our living room. It took about 2.5 hours to install. 2 people did install it, my father and my husband. We did have a little mess up hallways but that was operator error. We fixed it and if you follow the directions correctly you won’t have to worry about hiccups. It’s very quiet when on, and gives off much air around the room quickly. Definitely recommend. I plan on moving next year and I will definitely be taking this fan with me, it’s just that good! Oh and also a statement piece.

My fiance and I have installed several ceiling fans together and were excited to put this fan in the main living space of my home. The quality of the pieces are really well made and the look of the fan is sleek and modern. We watched the installation video on the website and it helped us with putting the fan pieces together. Installation went fast because we were replacing an old fan and had no issues. It looks great in the room with my furniture and decor and it works great! My ceilings are 10ft so the fan is at the perfect height and really helps with circulating the air in my house at a quick rate. The remote is cool because it has 6 speeds, we keep it attached to the wall. I love having this fan and have been opening the windows and turning the fan on to get fresh air in my house every day!

We were able to put this up in our tall ceiling area and the distressed black provides an elegant look, great air circulation, and functionality. I was able to easily install this and the extensions to drop the fan lower worked great and are sturdy.

He said it was very easy to read the directions. The Lehr™ 80" Fan Distressed Black ceiling fan is very quiet, and matched their stairway. They love the remote control and the Lehr™ 80" Fan Distressed Black ceiling fan moves massive air. The Lehr™ 80" Fan Distressed Black ceiling fan compared to their old one is not comparable. We are definitely looking for another Lehr™ 80" Fan Distressed Black ceiling fan.
Awesome powerful quiet fan!

It was pretty easy to install, although we had a bit of trouble at first with installing the blades. So far it works great and circulates the air well. It looks great, and we are loving this new addition to our home.
