The platter was not even in its original box; it was wrapped in paper. It is an expensive platter, and it was disappointing to receive it like that.

Future family heirloom, just lovely. Substantial weight, nothing cheap about this beautiful dish.

I was disappointed to realize they came without the proper boxes. Item is beautiful but I am not recommending because of lack of packaging.
