Cuisinart FS-75 Food Slicer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a Christmas gift to help with my DIY meat processing. The first time I used it, I quickly realized it wasn’t going to be precise, wasn’t going to last long and was built very cheaply. The backplate of the slicer won’t hold at a certain thickness and is so flimsy I was having to hold it in place with one hand to attempt to get a consistent thickness. The gears and drive on the machine are plastic. I don’t expect them to last very long. Some components are removable making them easy to clean but for the most part it’s difficult to clean. I’m very disappointed with this slicer, which is unfortunate because we own a lot of other Cuisinart products that we love.

Does the job, but the carriage and the part that pushes the food against the blade are lightweight plastic. I had hoped it would be a little bit sturdier.

Works great for my sourdough breads. I have not tried whis with anything else.

Excellent value for the price. Slicer is easy to use and has safety guards to protect consumers. The product could use better grippers on the bottom to help with more surfaces. Overall, I would recommend this product as an efficient, reliable product.

Good but not that good. I expected a better belt, easy to clean, slicer. This unit is mainly plastic and does not come apart, except for the cutting blade and the layer that you put the meat on the slice. A previous slicer I had came fully apart, so it was very easy to clean because this one doesn’t it makes it where you have fine debris caught in little spaces that you can’t get to without some kind of a cleaning brush. I would return it if I could, but the company I bought it through only had a short return. Which is already expired. Another issue I found is that the thickness that you set changes as you push the product against the blade so I’ve learned that I have to hold the adjustments lever while I cut. Cuisinart has always been a reputable brand, but this is not something I would recommend.

Perfect addition to the kitchen. Super sharp blade, easy to clean, cuts bread and slices meat great!

Slicer

i bought this but there is no meat pusher with this were do i get one for my meat slicer i do alot of slicing with my machine

Received as a gift and love it. Easy to setup and clean. Slices perfectly with easy adjustment to achieve variable thickness.

Cuts great, but the depth keeps moving needs a way to lock it.
