Johnston & Murphy Men's McGuffey Plain Toe Shoes

Poor quality control. I love the way these shoes look and feel but the sole seperates from the upper leather at the ball of the foot. I returned the pair and purchased another identical pair thinking the problem was an isolated issue. It was not! The same issue happened to the 2nd pair in less than a week of wear. J&M stood behind their product and issued a refund. I have been a loyal customer for many years and hope this problem is solved quickly.

Shoe is good but the laces wear out very quickly. They become frayed very easily and look bad quickly. Couldn’t find a matching replacement.

Sole is worn out after 6 months and the bottom of the shoe where the leather meets the rubber that is made to look like it’s stitched together is coming apart in multiple places 👎

They are nice shoes but the bottoms wore out in less than 6 months and that’s only from wearing them into the office 3 days a week maximum. For the price, very disappointed in the quality and expected them to last longer

My husband is very discerning (picky). He loves these shoes! We just ordered another pair because his old ones were about a year old. I decided to use a little saddle soap on his old pair. The leather is so good, they look like new. Now he has two pair and is very happy!
