Lenox Winter Greetings Dinner Plate

Nice formal dinner plate. Broke one last year. This was a replacement

I ordered a sale item that was represented as a set of four plates but received only one single plate! The order was a qty of 1 but it was suppose to be one set of four!! I was very disappointed. I'm still confused on how this happened!!

My Mom always loved Cardinals as far back as I can remember. So when she came to live with us 2 years before she died, we ended up with a few Cardinals in the house. Whenever I see anything Cardinal related I think of my precious Mom. When I saw these beautiful Cardinal dinner plates on sale I just had to purchase them. Much to my delight they are more beautiful in person. My Mom would be so thrilled to own these gorgeous plates! The gold trim is brilliant and the detail in the Cardinals is so beautiful.

We started our collection of Lenox "Winter Greetings" way back in 2003 when it was first introduced. Since then, we have amassed a very tall stack of dinner plates, an equally tall stack of luncheon plates, and all the different bird accent plates (back in the day when different birds were introduced each year.) We start using these in early November and don't stop until March. They have seen a lot of wear -- from large family gatherings to every day lunch and dinner. The beautiful festive detail and the gold edging are just as great as the day we brought them home. I love how this is a winter theme, versus a specific Christmas theme. Catherine McClung is such a talented artist to create so many nice variations to be featured on the different Lenox pieces. We were super pleased when our daughter registered for these too when she got married a number of years ago.
