[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Grinding your own beans is a quick and easy way to really up your coffee game. This unit is super easy to use and helps us make a delicious pot of coffee. Pour your beans in the hopper (it holds enough for several pots of coffee) set the grind you want (fine, medium, coarse, etc.) and the number of cups. Press the button and then wait while the unit precisely grinds and dispenses what you requested into the holding container. As it grinds it makes the whole kitchen smell like well, freshly ground coffee! Our previous Cuisinart Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill lasted over seven years and was used every day. We're looking forward to that same level of service with this unit.
It grinds coffee well but does not shut off after the selected number of seconds. I have to manually shut it off every time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] if you run it a couple of times, it shuts down. it would be great at south pole and use outside . i have seen many reviews of the same problem. i only choose cuisinart drip coffee makers, chopper, food processor and a smaller coffee grinded. i just purchase this without checking reviews cause the trust i have with cuisinart products. just disappointed with this product, plus best place to use is outside due to the mess it causes.
Bought it for the ability to grind enough coffee for a week so the size was my deciding factor. Even on the finest grind setting, it is coarse and often leaves half a bean in the grounds. The motor turns off and overheats after doing 3 grinds back to back. Would not buy again especially for the money

Had the unit for over 10 years, and it's great. Consistent grind, great adjustments, everything. After 10 years, the motor seems to have burned out, but I used it often and I'm not mad, getting ready to purchase another. to the folks who burned their motors right away, that's not the product's defect, it's you overloading the output cup, backing up onto the motor and burning the motor. If you jam the motor, it will burn up and stop working. Don't blame Cuisinart.

Instructions were very simple to follow. I was amazed at the ease of grinding as the unit did everything. I selected our brew preference (medium) for a drip coffee maker (Cuisinart), and it was exceptional. Highly recommend.
