I bought a glass pitcher to replace a plastic pitcher used for filtered water. I feel safer keeping water in glass. Plus this is a very attractive pitcher. It is somewhat heavy since it's large but the weight is a fine tradeoff for feeling secure when I get a drink.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pitcher. It is sturdy and beautiful, maybe a bit heavy, but that means it won't tip easily.
