Alex Evenings Dress and Jacket, Patterned Sparkle Evening Dress

I have been looking for a mother of the groom dress for months! Ive tried on many, many dresses and didn’t find the perfect dress until this one. I am hard to fit as Im a size 12-14 on the top and an 8 on the bottom. This dress fit perfectly as the fabric has stretch but not too clingy. All the fabric is lightweight. The jacket and beading is also lightweight and fits beautifully. I recommend this dress for anyone!

This dress is made well and of nice quality material. I love the jacket as it sets this dress off.

My wife was trying so many dresses that were disappointing and was desperate to find one for our son's wedding. This one did not impress me on the hanger, but I loved it on and knew this was perfect for the occasion! Love the style - flattering on, quality fabric, elegantly looking ,fits true to size and rich deep navy blue color - excellent price. Highly recommended!

It was absolutely gorgeous. Looked more elegant in person. I wish I could of used it, but the bride changed colors on us. Beautiful all around!

I waited for this dress in my size. When it came=major disapointment because it fit great but the dress layer under the sheer chiffon is sewn inside out so in the sunlight you can see all the seams! What a shame! Thats why this particular dress became available. Nomore quality control here :(((

I bought this for a black tie affair, awards ceremony - it's very pretty, elegant, understated. I am 5'7" and 130 pounds, the 8 fit perfectly. If you're short you'll have to hem it or wear very high heels. Barefoot the bottom was dragging but with 2 inch heels there was probably a 1/4 - 1/2" gap between the floor and the bottom of the dress. The jacket was a little too tight for me around the neck when I clasped it closed but I actually prefer the look with the jacket open so that is not an issue for me. I am wearing it with black heels - it's so long you can't really see the feet anyway. If I could find some dark gray heels that would work but I think flashy silver shoes would be too "much" as, barring the silver sparkles on the upper area, it's a dark grey/smoke color.

I wore this dress for my daughter's wedding and it looked gorgeous. I received many compliments. It fit very well and was comfortable. The skirt is very soft and the sparkles on the jacket and bodice add a touch of fun and beauty.

I hate to shop & try on dresses. I needed a gray dress for my son's wedding and dreaded finding one. I went to the mall only once, and hated the experience. The selection was limited and I didn't like any of the dresses. I went home and got on Macy's website. I quickly reviewed a wider selection than what was available at the mall. I found a dress I really liked (and at a great price). I followed the size chart & ordered appropriately. The dress was shipped very quickly and I received free shipping! The dress fit perfectly & I received many compliments on it. I couldn't be happier with my experience!!

The dress and jacket were a perfect fit. Both of them looked better in real life than in the pictures. There was one issue, the dress had three small stains. I exchanged the dress. Macy's return policy worked as advertised. If you get one, check the dress in bright light before you wear it.
