[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cookbook stand is very handsome as it is made of wood and not just plastic like some other models I’ve seen. Besides the pretty wood design, I also like that it folds up so you can store it away easily, which is important because I live in a small apartment. It does a great job of holding up my cookbooks, but I do wish it stood upright a bit more. Because it holds books at an angle, it takes up more counter space than I’d like. And, at 4’11, it’s hard for me to look at the cookbook without getting glare or feeling like I have to crane over the cookbook rather than if it stood more upright. In conclusion, this is great if you are of average to tall height and/or if you have a lot of counter space. I will continue to use it just to protect my cookbooks, but I do sadly think my height played into the comfort of using such a cookbook stand.

Previously the cookbooks would be #1 destroyed and #2 dirty. Now its actually looks nice to have them on the counter and they stay in good condition. The angle is also perfect
