Breville BOV900BSS 13-in-1 Smart Oven Air

I’ve used mine almost everyday, and some days twice a day for 5 years. Then, when it broke, I bought another one. I barely use my regular oven, and this really saves me money on my electric/gas bill. I admit, I’m not the best at keeping it super clean, but I’m not air frying and cooking things that drip. I’m definitely taking better care of it this go round. Highly recommend!

This Breville 13-in-1 smart oven is a great versatile appliance for roasting, toasting bread, air frying, and even proofing dough. Although quite large, it does serve as an extra oven for cooking during the holidays and dinner parties.

this is the third oven. I love it! This one does NOT have the rack recommendations though!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful, very flexible oven. However, it gets very hot on the rear of the appliance. We had to provide about three inches of clearance between the appliance and the wall. Sides and top are not too hot, but rear is very hot. We did buy the Breville bamboo cutting board for the top; will watch it for excess temps.

I almost purchased the mini oven as I am a household of one. However, I do a moderate amount of baking. I'm really pleased that I purchased the larger oven. I have baked three loaves of bread and two loaves of banana nut bread so far. The Breville oven lives up to its reputation for quality and performance. I'm learning to use the "smart oven" and appreciate the recipes and directions on the app. An added attraction for me: the oven radiates some heat but not like a large oven and cools quickly which is a relief during the summer high temperatures in Phoenix.

We remodeled our kitchen recently and had a microwave with convection and air fryer installed, thinking it would help us not need a stand alone air fryer. Big mistake — BIG! The air fryer option only works with preset food options. So, we did our research and decided that the Breville Smart Oven Air sounded like a better option than the microwave. We were right! From the very first day that it arrived, we have been using it daily. I highly recommend this product for proper air frying. It is quite large. Take the size into consideration for your own kitchen, as it could make a difference for some shoppers. Cheers!
