Uchino Air Waffle Cotton Bath Towel, 28" x 55"

I have the single sided version of this towel (one side the air waffle weave, the other side normal) and really like it, so I decided to try the double sided one. Towel is good quality, but is extremely thin because of the weave on both sides, making it actually not very absorbent. Pretty disappointed. Get this one only if you want a very, very sheer towel.

It’s as light as a feather, you can hold it with your pinky finger. it’s so absorbent … after a shower, it takes one pat to absorb moisture … but it doesn’t stay wet … it’s fast drying, which is really perfect for Florida. It’s also super soft and a gorgeous snow white color. It’s FABULOUS.

It washes so well and is perfect to dry your hair with because it is light and doesn’t add frizz to your hair. It really is unbelievable how soft and light this towel is. I want to change all of the towels in my house to these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard about this product I was very excited to try it. I was very disappointed when I received the product. It doesn’t feel like a towel at all. It is also very small for a towel. It feels more like a lightweight blanket. I can’t imagine an adult trying to dry themselves with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've never used a waffle towel it's definitely not the soft, thick, fluffy towel you are used to. While still super soft, they are fairly thin and super lightweight so they dry quickly, a huge plus in a humid area like I live. Our regular towels are often still damp the next morning and tended to mildew especially in the summer. But don't let the thin, lightweight material fool you, they are super absorbent but my waffle weave towel is always dry by the next use. While it's made from a super soft cotton the raised texture allows for a lot of exfoliation, I like to really scrub as an I dry off so I absolutely love the added texture and won't be going back to regular towels. My mom, however, tried it and didn't care for the texture, she still prefers a traditional fluffy loop terry towel, I think it's a love it or leave it type item but I'm on the love side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this towel! It is so light weight it doesn’t hang heavy on the towel rack. It dries fast and is still absorbant. It’s a different look than most towels we are used to but it’s beautiful, I’m going to slowly replace all of our towel with these- they are smaller when folded and will take up less space in the cabinet!
