Great extra bag to carry for international travels with great shopping opportunities. Packs small, but carries a ton. I have purchased a few as gifts.

The handles are too short. So when the bag is full, it's so hard to pick it up because the handles are too short unlike previous version which was OK. This new one is just a waste of money.

Too Thin. If a bag has no supports, then at least give it a thicker skin.

Christmas gift for our son. He went to open it last weekend to use it for a trip he was going on and there was damage to it. There is discoloration and several tears in the bag. Very disappointing since he needed a bigger bag and this one was perfect size. The packaging was fine so we don’t know if it was a manufacturing error but really disappointing because we have always bought Samsonite products. In fact the first luggage set we ever bought is Samsonite and we bought it back in 1995 and our family still uses it if needed. Usually a great product but this time I don’t know what happened. The discoloration on the inside bottom of the bag is strange and the tears I don’t know how to explain them. Has no smell of bleach or anything like that. I don’t know it’s just very disappointing.

My friend liked the size and said it was sturdy.
