Mikasa Trellis White 16 Pc. Dinnerware Set, Service For 4

I am very disappointed that the plates and pasta bowls now have a film and a rainbow hue to them .In my research I have found that this is a common problem with the Mikasa Trellis that are put in the dishwasher even though they say they are dishwasher safe. I find it odd that it did not happen to the cereal bowls or butter dish and cups . I am going to reach out to the company about getting advice how this can be corrected or replacements .

For the same price as 4 dinner plates and 4 salad plates, through Mikasa, I got the above PLUS 4 bowls and 4 cups, through Macy's on sale.

I bought the set on sale to match my set and to get more plates. We really like to use them everyday.

I just received my set of Mikasa Trellis and it’s beautiful. Just what I wanted. And it fits much easier in the dishwasher than my previous Pfaltzgraff. It was packed very well, not a single scratch or break. I haven’t used it yet so that’s all I can report.
