A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A brushed steel finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A 3-way rotary socket switch is located on the socket. This floor lamp is smart outlet compatible. Bulb is not included. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL's)

Floor lamp for a dark room corner
Very nice looking and versatile with all the different light settings by mixing and matching bulbs. Easy to assemble and nicely weighted so it won't tip over easily. It also was a great price.

Good lamp, not great
Looks good, pretty tall, easy to assemble. Two slight dings: 1 - the top shade part is pretty light, cheap feeling plastic that is easy to dislodge with a light touch. 2 -the on/off switch has two settings, low and high, and the low setting does not engage well. It clicks when you turn it, but in the middle setting (low), you have to wiggle it a bit to actually get the power on. The next click (high) does not have this issue. Not sure if it's a faulty switch on the one I got or not.

Not recommended
I do not recommended it. Mine was defective. Unfortunately, I missed the return deadline of 30 days after purchase (was informed via phone that could not return after that even though the piece of defective). In addition, this floor lamp is considered furniture by Macy's. I could not simply return it as other items directly to store. Very disappointing experience with Macys and the product.

Looks more expensive
Great price - looks more expensive than it is. Top is plastic, but the bottom is solid.
