MAC 286S Synthetic Duo Fibre Tapered Brush

I have a lot of MAC brushes but from over 10 years ago and this one feels more synthetic. This does the job but I wish MAC would go back to the brushes they had in the 90's and 2000's.

I absolutely love this brush for eyeshadow - blends so beautifully and so amazingly soft! I had bought this and the 217 - hands down this one is so much better! It not only blends any type of eyeshadow (cream, liquid, powder) but lays down color well too. MAC has the best brushes in my opinion. I just wish they would design some more that would meet my needs (i.e., a smaller powder blending brush - like the 109 but not as dense).

Great brush for applying powder eye shadow. I also appreciate Nona, at the MAC counter, demonstrating how to use it for the best coverage and results.

I’m a long time Mary Kay consultant and I love our brushes and they’re very reasonable but we don’t have one line this for the crease. My friend showed me this and it worked so much better so had to add it. Needless to say I was shocked at the price but I used my Macy’s dollars so I’m happy and my eyes look amazing!

If we could all have one brush, this should be the brush that everyone should buy! It is easy to use, and it helps apply the right amount of eyeshadow each time.
