These drapes definitely insulate both in summer and winter , also blockout the sun when you close them They do give you some noise insulation as well The material is superb Quality And they look very beautiful.
I believe because of the black backing the drapes are a dirty white almost a light grey in color. l’m really disappointed as I needed a true white. They seem to be made very well. They are going back.
The curtains are made of a very rich looking fabric. They drapes well and block out sunlight and streetlights.

These curtains are extremely dark. However they are too dark for me. I felt like they took away the energy from my room and so unfortunately I’m returning them.
Needed these for a bedroom window that faces south. Keeps the room dark even in the brightest sunlight of the day! Does exactly what I needed it to do!
these theater curtains are everything I wanted. I hung them in my bedroom for the blackout purposes. they cut the light out more than any pair I’ve ever purchased before.. they’re heavy, and beautifully in the cobalt . my husband walked by and commented on them, which is something in itself.. he seems to never pay attention to anything as simple as changing curtains…

I gave the Oslo curtains 5 stars for the quality and they keep the room dark and cooler. Not only do they look nice ,I am sleeping better at night. When they came out of the packaging they were very wrinkled. I ironed them and hung them up and they were still very wrinkled. Then I used a steamer and it made no difference. I took them down,washed in cold water,dried on low and then pressed them carefully with steam iron. Now they look .good.
