At 65 I have been buying Ralph Lauren since 25 years old. Around my 40s the quality dropped, the material, fit, attention to detail and now it’s just gone down. This particular Jean my go to felt so cheap, it wasn’t that soft material, the legs were a skinny fit not straight fit. These were cotton but notice how RL does stretch shirts, it’s to save cost yet the weave does not breath like the older Oxfords and Poplin shirts with 100% cotton weave. I have been moving onto other brands such as in England or Proper Cloth, you pay more but its quality and lasts.

This was a first, Could be the stitching or fabric but ripped from the that center fabric within 4th wear. But there were very comfortable to ware.
