I love the purple color of the drapes I chose! They are not blackout, but room darkening. I love how they drape, flowy and elegant. They reduce heat in the room. I don't know about noise, it is quiet at my house.

Did not like the texture of the fabric. The advertised color is white, but curtains are blue/gray.
