Cuisinart CSB-179 Smart Stick Variable Speed Hand Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a broken one and I give it 5 stars for the value the variable speed settings, and all the accessories. 3 stars for the power but only 1 star for the operation. Having to hold both buttons to operate (and they are not easy to push in for an older woman like me with not too much strength in her hands) is very hard and requires a lot of hand and finger strength.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I kept thinking about buying an immersion blender but wondered if it was worth it, and did I really need one more kitchen gadget? After one use, I kicked myself for not getting it sooner. I used to use a blender to make creamy potato soup and oh my, what a messy project it was. This immersion blender was very easy to use and got the job done in a fraction of the time. Blending the soup right in the pot means no more extra mess to clearn up. I like the fact that it has variable speeds. I highly recommend this product!

I like it except for one thing. I don't like having to push the lock button in order for it to work. I'm not that co-ordinated. Other than that, it's we orks just as good as my old one

My last immersion blender died, and I spend a lot of time comparison shopping and reading user reviews. This immersion blender came out on top and I am not disappointed. I love the accessories, including the mini food chopper, and whisk, and large plastic measuring/mixing cup. The safety start is an excellent feature, although I have to admit it confused me for a minute on my first use, and it took a few uses to feel totally comfortable. I have several Cuisinart items in my kitchen, including a large food processor that I’ve used regularly over the years, and I’ve always been happy with their quality and design. I’m looking forward to many many years of use with this combo too. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had one that died, replaced it with a cheaper one that went to Goodwill. Went back to Crusinart. Never disappoints. The chopper tool is new for me. My older emersion wand didn’t offer that option. I look forward to trying it
