Once a fad, now a necessity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like when salad spinners first came out, everyone got one, but before too long they were relegated to a back corner of the cupboard. This Oxo salad spinner is my first one. After the recent cyclosporiasis outbreak, I’m buying more whole heads of salad greens and bunches of fresh spinach rather than pre-packaged. I was wasting a lot of paper towel trying to dry my greens after washing them. Now I wash each leaf, tear it up into the colander part of the salad spinner, give it all another strong spray of water, and spin away! My salad greens are dry, crisp, and clean. I love it! Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Dishwasher safe??
It is great! My question is - can I put it and a couple storage containers in the dishwasher? I do not see it on the products nor on the packaging.
