Love these placemats.

Chilewich mats are the BEST!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my new place mats. I have used my current Chilewich mats everyday for the past 5 yrs and they still look new. I ordered new ones to match my new dining table. They can be wiped clean so perfect for daily use but look elegant enough for dinner party.

Mesh allows liquids to seem through.
It's a mesh so anything that spills goes onto the table. Wine can ruin the wood finish of the table if the spill isn't caught quick enough.
