Presto® 2 to 6-Cup Stainless Steel Percolator

Yesterday the pot just stopped percolating. I threw the box away so can’t return. Terrible purchase.

Produces hot rich, smooth coffee, like my parents used to drink, delicious. Hot coffee, says hot as long as you keep it plugged into the electric. Much richer smoother coffee than my french press coffee. Best tasting coffee I have ever made. I got the 6 cup, I would recommend the 12 cup size if you have a thermos to keep it warm, 6 cup really is 3 normal mugs sizes of coffee, get larger size , the 12 cup which will act like 6 mug size coffee cups.

Unless you are drinking a 3-4oz tea cups of coffee, this will only make Two 8 ounce cups. It will, however make those 2 cups very well, up to you if 2 cups of coffee is enough and worth the price.

Quit working after 3 years. Cleaned it checked power. Won't perc.

It is not as corrosion resistant as I would like. Coffee corrodes the big nut at the bottom that hold it together. It is not great looking if you actually look into the pot and see the crud around the bottom. Must be that manganese steel and not the good 304 stainless.

it brews quickly and efficiently, coffee tastes great. No grounds noted in the coffee pot or the coffee. Easy clean up, I like it.

I SEARCHED FOR A COFFEE POT WITHOUT PLASTIC, found this, and love the coffee I've been making. However, I did not know that aluminum is used in this pot. I will have to now replace IT. I am so very disappointed. I absolutely love the way my coffee tastes but avoid aluminum in my kitchen. UNLESS YOU TELL ME IT ISN'T IN THERE ANYMORE??

Makes good coffee

Had a Farberware 12 cup percolator. It made a good cup of coffee but I only make 4 cups at a time. Decided to give the Presto a try based on the ratings and it was on sale. Still figuring out the right mix but I’m using half as much coffee/beans to get the same amount of brewed coffee versus the Farberware. Also, the Presto is superior in craftsmanship to the Farberware.
