Beautiful but too small?
Confused at the size. A tea cup should give you at least Eight ounces of tea while allowing room at the top of the cup. Im sad to return but just too small.

Beautiful but small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no issue with the cups themselves, I begin assembling the dining and tea set in Villeroy Manoir line, but the size of the cups in 7 oz which in reality truly fit 5 oz (7 if you pour water through the rims) simply doesn’t work for us. Sadly I had to return.

Villeroy and Bosch Manior teacups
Bought these to replace my Wedgwood Queen’s Plain which I had purchased many years ago at Macy’s but have been discontinued. Very elegant and high quality porcelain. I had the basic 12 place settings pieces. So I have gradually added cereal bowls and mugs, then teacups and saucers. Not white white. Not cream. Almost white. They are perfection. Just beautiful!

Pretty cup!

Me ideal tea cup
I was absolutely disgusted by the size of typical American mugs. Those are not cups! They are heavy, it's inconvenient to hold them, brrrrr... awful things. When I saw that cup, I fall in love immediately. That is a cup. A real cup. Right sized cup. Cup for tea. It even seems to meet my tea is tastier in it lol!

Elegant tea cups
I had bought the cereal bowls and really loved them so when I needed tea cups this was the first place I looked. They are very elegant and a good size for a cup of tea. They are a bit smaller than what I was used to but while refilling from a teapot they are perfect!
