I have used LaRochere for the past 20years. These were glasses are lighter, the weight on the base is almost non-existent. Quite a disappoint,emt.

Love LaRochere. Not just timeless but tough. We started with a smaller size to replace stemmed wine glasses that bit the dust on a cross country RV trip. Back at home we now have sets in three sizes. The 11 oz is particularly versatile. Perfect as water glasses and a good choice for tall cocktails. Or a (slightly short) beer. The weighted bottom keeps them upright and the bees don't just look good - they FEEL good.

I have had these glasses for close to 15 years and the first one broke in December of last year and I decided to get another set and just replace them as they break because I'm assuming because they're older and they have been moved around because we are a former active duty, military family, that overtime that they're getting weak or weak spots are being found in them them. But.. they have lasted through several moves including different countries, and have held up very well and I love the little be simple on them, and I was happy to find that they are still being made.
