Pretty, great size. Wider and not as deep as the old style. Definitely prefer these.

I purchased the 40 piece set that goes with these. The bowls that are in the 40 piece set are more like soup bowls and not as deep. These are deep, perfect for cereal. They shipped immediately and arrived quickly with no damage whatsoever.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new bowls. They're heavier so maybe they'll last longer. I'm a long time fan of the French Countryside. This pattern is so graceful in appearance that it makes any table attractive and welcoming. Looking forward to some pieces coming back into stock. i. e. stacking serving bowls
We love these bowls. We’ve had our French countryside for years but we’d broken a couple of bowls.
/They don't match to my old set. I will keep but I am sending the mugs back after Christmas.
We have ordered these from you before because our original bowls kept chipping. These seem to be of higher quality materials! Hopefully, they won't chip As easily!
Love that the same pattern is available. We have used this set for years, They have taken a lot of abuse.
Love these extra large soup/cereal bowls. I had the rimmed soup bowls already but ordered these because of their size. When I'm cooking just for two, I can use them for serving.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this addition to my everyday china. I have been using this pattern since my wedding back in 1988. A true classic indeed.
I purchased these bowls to replace a few chipped/broken bowls. While they claim to be French Countryside, they are not the same size or thickness. These are not replacements for the previous French Countryside offering.
