So I finally caved and got the Breville Barista Express, and honestly? Best coffee decision I’ve made in years. The big selling point for me was the built-in grinder — I didn’t want to deal with a separate grinder taking up more counter space, and having fresh-ground beans go straight into every shot makes a huge difference. Like, actually noticeable. • Grinds and brews in one machine, no extra gadgets needed • The temperature control means you’re not getting that burnt, bitter shot sometimes • Steam wand actually makes real microfoam, so your lattes look (and taste) legit • Feels solid and well-built, not some flimsy plastic thing Not gonna lie though: • You will mess up your first several shots. It’s a learning curve, especially getting the grind size and tamp right • You gotta clean it every day or it gets gross • It takes up a decent chunk of counter space Bottom line: If you’re tired of spending $5-6 a day on coffee and actually want to get into making good espresso at home, this is 100% worth it. Give yourself a couple weeks to figure it out and you’ll be pulling shots like a pro.

I've had a Barista Express for over 15 years. The latest version is sleeker, more precise, and makes consistently great espresso. The steamer dial is more elegant and effortless. Fantastic Machine!

It's slower than my older one that died. It sure makes one heck of great cuppa!

I previously had the bambino for years. I upgraded to this one once that one stopped working. I have only had for a week so far but love the pressure gauge. It’s a trial and error to start out with figuring out the grind size and amount, etc. However, I do think it has helped me make a better overall espresso.

Perfect home espresso machine for those that want to make their own coffees. Easy to use, but still creates the handcrafted experience.

My mother and sister-in-law both have the Sage Bambino Plus, and they've had such a great experience with it that I decided to buy a Sage coffee machine myself. I wanted one with a built-in coffee grinder, and I'm so glad I chose this machine. It was very easy to set up, and it's so straightforward to use. I love making a cappuccino every morning, and the coffee always tastes amazing. The machine also looks beautiful on my kitchen counter. I highly recommend this coffee machine to anyone looking for great coffee at home!
